Stock Controller

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all items in the warehouse are appropriately received, stored and stock discrepancies are investigated in line with company policy.

Ensure customers’ demands are met in the most efficient manner obtainable and ensure no out of stocks occur where stock is in satellite depots.

Compile inventory information and present it to management for effective decision making, which may include the need for restock, and so on.

Continuous daily cycle count activity as to ensure stock accuracy and help coordinate yearly stock take.

Investigate hitches in the warehouse inventory system and execute necessary improvements towards better business performance, which centers on customer satisfaction.

Arrange temporary staff when needed and mange them on site.

Requirements:

Two (2) years’ experience as a stock controller, receiver, or related position

3rd Level Qualification in a business-related field/similar modules or relevant life experience.

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

Goal-oriented, organized team player

Accurate and precise attention to detail

Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions

Good interpersonal skills to work with management and staff at all levels

Desirable Requirements:

Knowledge of Intact ERP System

FLT / PPT License desirable

Current Manual Handling Certificate desirable

Warehouse Operative

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Pick, pack and dispatch materials.

Receive materials and update the inventory management system, store and allocate received materials as per company procedures ensuring stock rotation.

Ensure that all materials are transported to their destination efficiently, safely and accurately.

Ensure that all stock handled is stored correctly, safely and accurately within the warehouse facility.

General housekeeping duties of stores facilities and company vehicles. To ensure that all duties are carried out in an efficient and safe manner. (Storage of materials, manual handling, consideration of others).
